HANOVER, MD – Phillips Federal is 100% focused on partnering with the U.S. Government to solve your toughest manufacturing challenges. We understand the unique needs of the U.S. Government and take these responsibilities seriously.

Below is the story of Sherman Padgett and how he has become an integral part of supporting the U.S. Federal Government.

Sherman Padgett served in the U.S. Air Force for 5 ½ years as an Aircraft Electrician in Electro-Environmental.  Sherman currently is in the Air National Guard and has served there for 7 ½ years.  Sherman explains that “during my service to my country the most important lesson I have learned that a single person, group, or branch of the service cannot complete the larger mission/objective by themselves. It must be a collective effort to be not only successful but highly efficient. I believe that this not only applies to the Military but also to Civilian and Corporate families.

“As a service member who continues to serve our country, I truly believe that this country is worth all the sacrifices that Military Members, Military Families, U.S. Citizens, and Civilian Employers make to ensure that as a nation our rights and freedoms are preserved.  Every day I strive to be the best I can be and to hold myself to stringent standards whether I am wearing a Military Uniform or my Phillip’s Uniform.  Doing this helps to ensure my goal of having a positive impact in the United States and globally and making it a better place to live, work and thrive for generations to come.

I help others at Phillip’s by listening to carefully to the needs of customers and Phillip’s partners and then by being persistent and conscientious of the customer needs, striving to give them more than they expect while providing a positive solution.  I utilize this mindset as well with fellow partners within Phillip’s Corp.

My purpose is to be the positive part of everything!” – Sherman Padgett, Service Engineer
