Phillips Machine Tools – EPD Division presents world’s best Machine Tools Solutions at IMTEX 2019

Phillips Engineering Products Division rounded off its successful journey at IMTEX 2019 on high note with highly engaging products display and equally encouraging orders and responses.

Phillips EPD drove home its superiority as the leading machine tools solutions provider at India’s biggest machine tools exhibition IMTEX 2019 organized by Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association which was held from 24-30 January 2019.

IMTEX 2019 provided the best platform for the Phillips EPD to showcase their broad spectrum of innovative products and receive magnanimous positive responses.

Phillips EPD launched Phillips Vision – Augmented Reality for Machine Tools at their stall for the first time ever. Along with the new innovation of VR technology, the company also put up a live demo of three of its latest Machines – HERMLE C250, LK MT 800P, and PALMARY OIG 200D.

HERMLE C250 U has reached the pinnacle of 5 axis machining accuracy. MT 800P by Taiwan based LK Machinery is a vertical machining centre with auto pallet changer. Shaped ultra-wide column design and direct driven spindle 10,000 rpm makes it stand apart from its contenders for automotive industries. PALMARY OIG 200D with 2 spindles is the new CNC internal Grinding Machine from PALMARY featuring the optimal structural design, and an elegant appearance combined with advanced CNC control.

The products and innovations displayed received outstanding response from the customers and visitors at the booth.

Mr. Terrence Miranda, the Managing Director, Phillips Machine Tools India, feels, “It is a unique opportunity to interact with the customers. Indeed a very good networking event for all the manufacturing companies. We have been able to gather multiple eyes for the technologies introduced and exhibited here. The huge crowd at our booth gave us the motivation to serve the customers even better with the coming times.”

Talking about his new idea of VR technology, Mr. Miranda contentedly says, “VR technology is designed to help our technical engineers to troubleshoot the machines in the field with the assistance from the back office engineers. It has been a revolutionary initiative taken by our team to serve the future.”

He further adds, “We are also planning to come up with training classes for the people interested in VR technology just by sitting at home through our embedded software.”
